We are a friendly, easy going professional family offering a lovely room in a spacious terraced house in the Murrayfield area.

The room is fully furnished with a double bed, desk and chair, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

We have a large open plan kitchen diner, and utility room, separate lounge and two bathrooms both with bath and shower. The bathrooms are shared. There is ample space for socialising and for peace and quiet when you want it. We have a lovely West facing back garden.

Excellent transport links, close to Haymarket Station and easy links to Edinburgh Airport. Direct bus route to both the Western General Hospital and Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Ample on street parking.

The room is available from 1 September and we would favour a letting period of 6 months initially. with the option to extend.

You will be sharing with Alan, Sandra - and lovely 3 year old Finn, Sandra’s grandson, who promises to be well behaved most of the time. Finn’s mum Hazel is studying at Edinburgh University and joins us in the house depending on her schedule.

We would be grateful if you would agree to a basic Disclosure Scotland background check which we are willing to pay for.

Sandra and Alan are warm and welcoming, and also chilled and relaxed. The house is spacious, clean and effortlessly runs itself (thanks to the magic cleaning fairies). The garden is south facing and in the warm weather a welcome space after work. The bed in my room is soooo comfortable. The bathroom has a great shower and bath. Wonderful location: easy access to tram and buses and half way between Town and the airport. Sorry to be moving on, but such is the life of an IT contractor. Sarah
