Spare room in 2 bed flat in Morningside

Hi! I’m renting out my guest room in my flat in Morningside from 3rd August to 10th September.

The room has a comfortable double bed and is bright and quiet, while the flat itself is a spacious top-floor, south-facing tenement with lots of natural light. As you can see from the photos, it’s a well-kept flat with high ceilings, original features and plenty of shared living space, so it doesn’t feel like you’re just renting a room.

I’m rarely home during this period, so in reality you’ll have the place almost entirely to yourself and are welcome to make full use of the living room, kitchen and bathroom.

Rent is £1,000 per month, all bills included, including Virgin broadband (average speeds of around 140 Mbps). The flat also has a Smart TV, washer-dryer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, fridge/freezer and a bathroom with a large rainfall shower and combi boiler, so you’ll never run out of hot water.

The location is hard to beat. Morningside has great cafés, restaurants and shops on the doorstep, and there’s a bus stop less than a 2-minute walk away with frequent day and night services to the city centre in under 20 minutes. Bristo Square is around a 45-minute walk.

I’m looking for someone who’ll treat the flat like home. No smokers or pets, but couples are very welcome.
