Hi there! We are looking for a long-term flatmate for a 3-Person flatshare in Morningside!
The move-in date is mid-September 2026. The rent is £420 a month + approx £55 for council tax + £65 for utilities. There is a £420 deposit. It’s a furnished double room, which you will have an individual lease for with our private landlord, who is responsive and easy to deal with. Looking for someone who is willing to share the council tax bill between the three of us.
In terms of accessibility, the flat is on the second floor of a building without a lift. It’s on a quiet street in a quiet building. There is a shared garden. Unfortunately, we're not allowed pets.
Phil (he/him) is a gardener, who works full time and is at the flat during weekdays, as he's bought a house on the west coast to fix up on the weekends and to move into in probably a couple of months.
Paulie (they/them) works from home at the moment, enjoys quiet nights in and nature excursions, crafts, reading, and watching tv.
An ideal new flatmate would be a friendly and respectful person who's considerate about noise and reliable with chores and keeping the place clean/tidy. Not a party flat. We're hoping to create a calm atmosphere in the flat, with a nice balance of connection and personal space.
If you're interested, please message us with a bit about yourself so we can see if we might be a good fit. We'd ideally like to organise some viewings before the end of August.
