Hello, I have a spare room for short term rent in my flat in Musselburgh. The flat has 2 bedrooms, large bay window living room, galley kitchen, office and garden. On street parking. I"m 5 minute walk from the train station, with train links to central Edinburgh in 7 mins, and links to East Lothian.
The room has an Ikea day bed that pulls out into a double, or you can have it as a single if you want more space. A dresser and a wardrobe.
I work from home a lot so ideally you’re out of the house through the day. Also, I have a dog, so you'd have to be comfortable with her.
