We are not your usual place to stay. We are a Buddhist Centre based in Attleborough, but you don't have to be a Buddhist to live here.

The centre is approximately 15 minutes from Norwich.

We can offer you a peaceful and harmonious place to live with free access to our meditation programmes. More information can be found on our social media sites.

Everyone who lives in the centre must attend at least one meditation class as we have found this keeps harmony within the centre. Every resident has a house job and cleaning area and also some voluntary work around the centre.

We are strictly a vegetarian household. We don't allow alcohol or drugs on the premises.

We have a no TV policy but don't mind if you use your laptop or listen to music with headphones.

There are a good selection of shops and restaurants in the local area and a good rail link to Norwich, London, Cambridge and Leicester.

We have some parking at the back of the property and good local off-road parking. We have a lovely patio garden to the rear and a communal area for residents to use in the
evenings.

We have good fibre-optic broadband in the house.

We are a working centre with regular classes and events which means our doors are open to the public. The resident’s rooms have lockable doors and are therefore secure.

Cyprus House is a Grade II listed building which is around 400 years old. It is one of the oldest buildings in the town. We have spent the last year renovating the roof and dormer windows, making the house warmer and more eco-friendly.

Norfolk is very picturesque with huge open skies, country walks, rural landscapes, friendly market towns and the beautiful city of Norwich at its centre. Attleborough is
close to Peddars Way, Thetford Forest and approx. 45 mins from the coast.
