This winter I’m opening three furnished double rooms at Home House Homestead for women looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to live for five months.

Home House is a rural country home and retreat sanctuary in the Norfolk countryside, surrounded by gardens, open skies and nature.

I’m looking for kind, independent and considerate women who would enjoy the balance of having their own space while sharing a relaxed and peaceful home with others.

This could especially suit someone who works remotely, writes, creates, coaches or sees clients online, is taking a sabbatical, is between homes, or simply wants to step out of city life for a quieter winter season.

The house

Home House has:

* Furnished double bedrooms
* Shared kitchen and living spaces
* High-speed Starlink Wi-Fi
* Large garden and surrounding countryside
* Peaceful spaces to work, read and rest
* Shared halal kitchen
* Washing machine and household facilities
* Parking
* A warm, homely atmosphere rather than a conventional house share

The house is pork, smoke, alcohol and drug free (this is non negotiable) and is generally a quiet household.

There is plenty of space for everyone to have privacy, and I’m hoping to create a friendly but independent household rather than a highly social house share.

Rent is:

**£800 per month per double room**

Bills are included.

I will be based at Home House for some of the winter but will also be travelling for periods of time, so I’m looking for women who are responsible, self-sufficient and comfortable living independently.

There will also be a trusted local contact available while I am away in case there are any practical issues with the house.

I have a very affectionate cat, Sonny, who comes and goes freely, so you will need to be happy living with a cat.

There is also a small flock of chickens outside.

Kind, respectful and considerate
Clean and reasonably tidy
Independent and responsible
Comfortable with peaceful rural living
Happy in an alcohol and drug-free home
Respectful of other people’s privacy and quiet time

Home House has a gentle Sufi Muslim ethos, although you do not need to be Muslim or spiritual to live here. I simply ask that the peaceful nature and values of the home are respected.

This is a women-only household.

Location

Home House is in rural Norfolk, so having a car is essential.
