The studio occupies the lower ground floor of my Victorian house close to the town centre in Harrogate and benefits from its own private entrance accessed via the garden. It is spacious accommodation for a single person consisting of a large bed/sitting room, a separate shower room and new fitted dining kitchen. An internal hallway, with all of the rooms leading off, has a large walk-in wardrobe at one end and an open under stairs area with a large chest of drawers at the other.

The studio is fully furnished with high quality, attractive furniture and has been completely re-decorated and furnished to a high standard. The dining kitchen, with high quality integrated appliances, was installed in May this year.

The studio is fully self-contained so our paths won’t cross too frequently but a friendly chat when we meet in the garden would be lovely.

If you will be living alone for the first time or your circumstances mean that you don’t have many of the necessities of living alone, I can provide additional items like cutlery, crockery, saucepans etc for your use.

The studio is fantastically located on a quiet, tree lined street just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre with access to rail (including regular fast service to London) and bus transport links, cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, cinemas and entertainment. There is a large supermarket within a very short walk from the property and the Stray and beautiful Valley Gardens are no more than a 15 minute stroll through town. A little further afield is RHS Harlow Carr (10 minutes by car), Fountains Abbey UNESCO World Heritage Site and National Trust Brimham Rocks (both 20 minutes by car) while the stunning Yorkshire Dales begin just a few miles from the edge of town.

Parking is on street and a Residents Permit is available from the Council for about £30 per year.

I’m very easy going and looking for someone similar who is reasonably quiet, easy to get along with and considerate. I have two friendly cats and an adorable Border Terrier who is always on the look out for a cuddle.
