THE PROPERTY

This property is a fantastic, central and well-managed shared house on Hoxton Road, just one minute from the popular Victoria Road with its wide range of shops and plentiful public transport links. It is 10 minutes' walk from the train station and 30 minutes' walk to the hospital, (15 minutes by bus). There is a mini Tesco supermarket just three minutes' walk away and a large supermarket about five minutes' walk away.

The entrance hallway leads to the lounge with TV & comfy seating. Off the lounge is a bright kitchen and back yard. In the kitchen is plenty of cupboard space and fridge / freezer space, and behind the kitchen is a drying room and a communal toilet.

There is fast WiFi provided for free throughout the house and TV points in many of the rooms. There are six bedrooms in total and three are en-suite, so the communal shower room is only shared by three people.

Reporting issues in the house to us is very easy on our app, and we are always very quick to fix issues.

AVAILABLE ROOM(S)
Room 3 - This is a large en-suite double room with sea views, and is big enough to have your own seating area if you wish, making it almost like a self-contained studio flat. It comes with a double bed, mattress & mattress protector, drawers, bed-side table and wardrobe. There is a lock on the door for your privacy. Please note, there is an additional charge for electricity in the room (coin meter), hence the low price for the room, but electricity in the communal areas is included. Also note, the soft furnishings shown in the photos of the bedroom / en-suite (e. g. plants, bedding, pictures on the walls, laptop) are for illustrative purposes only and are not provided with the room.

THE HOUSEMATES

The other tenants are all professional working or retired, and are aged between about 25 and 65. It is a very friendly but quiet and respectful house. On the whole it is fairly quiet despite the number of rooms, there are no parties and everyone respects each other's privacy.

Sorry but we don't accept pets or couples in this property at this time.

Please note: electricity is provided free of charge in the communal areas but a small contribution to the electricity bills is requested in the form of a coin meter for electricity in the bedrooms. This is very cheap under normal use (evenings and weekends) and two or three pounds is likely to last you more than a week if you are normally out in the day.
