Large double with en suite

I have a large double room available with an en suite in a modern detached house on the outskirts of Selby/edge of Brayton. The area is a quiet cul de sac with friendly neighbours. The room comes furnished with a bed, wardrobes/drawers, a small sofa and desk. The en suite was replaced about 4 years ago and is in good condition. The house has full fibre broadband with a good connection (900mb).

The house has a large kitchen diner, living room and garden space (you'll see from the photos the garden is a work in progress but will be done in the next couple of weeks). You'd be sharing with me (Sean - live in landlord) and my dozy 4 year old Labrador (Bracken), who still gets very excited by new people but soon calms down when the novelty wears off.

I've been taking lodgers for 4 years and have had a mix of professionals and sandwich course (year in industry) students over the years.

I'm easy to live with, have a sense of humour, I like a clean house and am as happy socialising with someone as I am leaving them to their own devices. My passtimes include socialising with friends (the occasional board game night), DIY (most of the house renovation is my own work), taking the dog out and I'm a Beaver Scout Leader in my spare time. I do work from home most of the week as a solicitor but have my own home office for that purpose.

Available from 22 Aug 2026 but I can be a little flexible over that if necessary.
