Room (with own bathroom) in quiet home

I have a bedroom available in my home in Copmanthorpe (edge of York). You will have your own bathroom (with shower over bath) to use. There’s a kitchen (with dishwasher), dining room, living room, utility room (with washing machine and drier) and a downstairs loo - you’ll have shared use of all of these. There is a sunny back garden. There is secure storage for a bicycle if required.

Copmanthorpe is a nice village on the edge of York - it has a Co op, convenience store, pub, cafes, library, hairdresser, doctor, pharmacy, dentist and several takeaways.

Copmanthorpe has a regular bus service to York (and to Leeds). It's 5 minutes from the York park and ride. There is quick access to the A64 and the York ring Road.

No smokers or pets. You’d be sharing with me, a lecturer at a local University. I have shared often in the past, and am looking for a friendly and tidy person who is after a clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay.
