I have a bedroom available from April 2026 in my home in Copmanthorpe (edge of York). The bedroom is furnished with a bed, bedside table and lamp, shelf unit, chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a wall mirror, and a desk and desk chair if you require these.

You will have your own bathroom (with shower over bath) to use. There’s a kitchen (with dishwasher), dining room, two lounge areas, utility room (with washing machine and drier) and a downstairs loo - you’ll have shared use of all of these. There is a nice back garden. There is secure storage for a bicycle if required.

Copmanthorpe is a nice village on the edge of York - it has a Co op, convenience store, pub, cafes, library, hairdresser, doctor, pharmacy, dentist and several takeaways.

Copmanthorpe has a regular bus service to York (and to Leeds). There is quick access to the A64 and the York ring Road. It’s located near Askham Bar Park and Ride. There is easy access to York College and Askham Bryan College is nearby. The two Universities can be accessed by bus or are around a 30 minute bike ride away, as is the hospital.

No smokers or pets. You’d be sharing with me, a lecturer at a local University. I have shared often in the past, and am looking for a friendly and tidy person who is after a clean, comfortable and quiet place to live.
