I am looking for someone to take over my tenancy in a two bed house in the Lawrence Street area. The house is on a quiet side street. The house is in easy walking distance of the University of York and city centre. A large Lidl, Morrisons and Waitrose are all nearby. The house is furnished, and the room comes with a bed and some basic storage. The downstairs bathroom is solely used by the tenant is the room, as the other bedroom has an en-suite. So although you will your own bathroom. There is washing machine and tumble drier in the property. The kitchen is a good size and has plenty of space for making food. There is bike storage in the back of the property and free on street parking.
The contract is a monthly rolling one so duration of tenancy is flexible, but you would be responsible for replacing yourself if you leave before the prior housemate does. Bills are not included, and are between £130-£150 each depending on the time of year. We are looking for a clean, easy-going individual, who will get on with the existing tenant. We are predominantly interested in professionals but would consider an older PhD student.
