Double Room in Stylish York House with Garden

I am looking for someone to take the spare room in my beautiful two bed house on Farrar Street in York. It is a lovely airy terrace house around a 10 minute walk to the city centre and not far from the university, with a shared bathroom, conservatory and a quiet, sunny courtyard garden. There is also on street parking with no permit needed.

I am an antiques auctioneer so the house is full of gorgeous things, art, books and furniture! The house is furnished and has a very cosy, creative feel to it. The garden and conservatory get sun throughout the day and are really lovely in summer for coffee, drinks or reading outside.

My current housemate has a cat who will be moving out with her, but I would potentially be open to pets for the right person.

I would really love to find someone who sees the house as a home rather than just somewhere to stay. It is a calm, relaxed and creative space, so I am looking for someone considerate, tidy and easy to live with who would enjoy that sort of environment. I am always up for a glass of wine, trip to the pub or a catch up in the kitchen, but equally very respectful of personal space and downtime too.
