Fred Rowntree was the Architect who's work includes West China University at Chengtu. This historic property retains many charming features and is bright and spacious in its design. Each bedroom has a comfortable bed, plenty of storage and fitted blinds. The ground floor comprises an entrance hall, three spacious bedrooms, a shower, WC with hand basin and the kitchen dining area. Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 are on the ground floor and 4, 5, 6 and 7 are on the first floor 8 &9 are in the attic. Rawcliffe Holt sits in a quiet area while still being close to York city centre. You can walk into the city centre within fifteen minutes by strolling straight down Bootham or if you fancy a more scenic route you can walk or cycle into town via the path next to the river. The beautiful Homestead Park is a five-minute walk away and a Spar convenience shop is only a couple of minutes away.
