Bedroom

A bright, comfortable bedroom is available in my home in Copmanthorpe (edge of York). You will have exclusive use of your own bathroom (with shower over bath). There’s a kitchen (with dishwasher), dining room, living room, utility room (with washing machine and drier) and a downstairs loo - you’ll have shared use of all of these. There is a sunny back garden. There is secure storage for a bicycle if required.

Copmanthorpe is a nice village on the edge of York with a good range of amenities including a Co op, pub, cafes, library, hairdresser, doctor, pharmacy, dentist and several takeaways.

There is a regular bus service to York (and to Leeds). It's a 5 minute drive to the York park and ride. There is quick access to the A64 and the York ring road.

You’d be sharing with me, a lecturer at a local University. I have shared often in the past, and am looking for a friendly and tidy person who appreciates a clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay. Ideal for mature students or professionals who are looking for a peaceful short term base. No smokers or pets.

Happy to discuss reduced payment for part week stay.
