I am transferring the tenancy because my academic arrangements have changed, meaning that I may no longer need to be based in York for the duration of the tenancy. I have not occupied the room, as the tenancy does not begin until September 2026.

The replacement tenant must be a student and must be able to provide proof of study. The takeover will be completed officially through Hello Student. The replacement tenant will sign a new tenancy agreement directly with Hello Student, so this is not an informal sublet.
