If you and your mates are after something different, head to York Station (12 minutes via bus) and get a train and you could end up in Leeds in just 25 minutes, great for a day out without having to spend on a hotel. Morrison’s and Waitrose is a 19 minute walk away (or 14 minutes via bus), while a 20 minute walk (or 14 minute walk) can take you to Coppergate Shopping Centre. Make sure to check out some of York’s beloved pubs like the York Tap which is 14 minutes via bus, while House of Trembling Madness is 11 minutes.
