We have a large double room to let in our large, Victorian terrace close to the centre of York. The room is located on the first floor. It is furnished in a suite of Ikea Malm furniture and decorated in cream. This is available from the last week in June. Within walking distance of York city centre, the river and the train station, this quiet house is home to six friendly tenants, at present three women and three men, all employed or in Post Graduate education, who share a living room, large kitchen with range cooker, washer, dryer and microwave, and two modern bathrooms, both with showers. There is on street parking (subject to the purchase of a permit)and a secure yard at the back of the house where bikes can be kept. The house is broadband enabled, the cost of which is included in the rent. As well as broadband, the rental price includes council tax, water, gas, electricity, tv license for communal tv and a cleaner for the communal areas. The house is double glazed throughout. We are looking for friendly people, either employed or in post-graduate education, with references, to join our lovely tenants.
