Lovely double room 20mins from city centre

Hi!

I have a choice of 2 lovely double rooms available for rent (I only intend to rent 1 of the rooms) in my 3 bedroom home, close to York City centre.
The rooms are both spacious and bright, furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. The larger of the two is an attic conversion. The photos don't do them justice.

I have rented out rooms over the past 10 years or so and I have been luckily to always have great house mates where the dynamic has worked really well; we all do our own thing and don't live on top of each other, but equally we get on really well and like to have a chat or watch a movie together when we are all around. The room would suit a mature student or professional who is easy going and friendly, and happy to help keep the house clean and tidy. I would like someone who will the treat the house with respect but also make it their home.

The most important criteria of a potential housemate is that it’s someone who genuinely LOVES dogs. I have Roger the basset hound and he slobbers, moults, barks at delivery men, and desires lots of attention (might as well be honest! 🤣) ❤️. If you are not a huge fan of dogs please don’t contact me as this will not be the home for you.

The rest of the house comprises a shared bathroom, nice big kitchen and comfortable lounge. There is also a spare room with a sofa bed and tv (if you have friends to stay or want to use it as an extra living room).
There is a paved area at the back with table and chairs and space on the drive to park 2 cars.
It's a 20 min walk to town, both universities are easy to get to, and there is good access to A64 and A19.

No smoking house so you would have to go outside
