All bills included, including very fast gigabit internet.
Both rooms have double beds and can be offered furnished or unfurnished and I'm happy to provide additional furniture if there's something you need.
The house
This is not an HMO, there will only be three of us living here in total when both rooms are occupied.
The house has a separate living room with a large TV, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, large shared bathroom with both a bath and separate shower, and a private rear garden, plenty of communal space.
The location is particularly convenient:
Around 3 minutes' walk to Northampton General Hospital great for NHS/hospital staff
Around 10 minutes' walk to Northampton town centre
Around 15 minutes' walk to Northampton railway station
Around 10 minutes' drive to the M1
Great selection of pubs, bars, cafés and restaurants within easy walking distance

Who you'd be living with
I'm the live-in landlord, a teacher in my 30s. I'm easy-going and sociable and spent around ten years travelling/living around the world before coming back to England.
I work quite a long way from Northampton, so I'm generally out of the house for most of Monday–Friday. I'm looking for professionals who'd like somewhere relaxed and comfortable to treat as their home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
I'm happy for the house to be sociable and for people to have friends or partners over. I'm looking for people who are friendly, considerate but will treat the house as their own.
There is also a friendly (once she’s warmed up to you) cat who lives here, it's very much a cat-friendly home, and I'd be open to someone bringing another cat too, provided they get along.
