I’m looking for someone lovely to share my home with — ideally someone who feels more like a friend than a housemate. I’d love to find someone I genuinely get along with, as I don’t have a huge friendship circle around here and would really enjoy having some company, whether that’s watching TV together, going out for food, having a coffee or just chatting after work.

I’m very friendly, bubbly and probably a little bit weird 😂, and I’m the sort of person who will happily talk to absolutely anyone. I’d love someone who is happy to treat the place as their home rather than simply having somewhere to sleep.

The room is on the first floor and looks out over the fields and park, so it has a lovely view. It will comfortably fit a single bed and can fit a double bed too, although it would be a tighter squeeze depending on the size/style of the bed and how it’s positioned. Curtains are already fitted.

The room will be unfurnished, although I do have a set of drawers that you’re welcome to use if you’d like them. They’re currently being used for my things, but I’ll clear them out before you move in.

You’ll have access to the shared living room and kitchen, as well as the bathroom directly opposite the bedroom. I have an en-suite in my own room, so the bathroom would essentially be your own bathroom. It’s currently undecorated, so you’re more than welcome to decorate it and make it your own. The only thing I’d ask is that you don’t mind me occasionally using the bath, particularly during the colder winter months. 🛁😊

I work shift work, so my hours can be quite varied and I’ll sometimes be coming and going at different times. When I’m not working, I’m honestly quite a homebody — sometimes I’ll happily stay in bed all day 😂. I don’t tend to sit in the living room on my own because I hate being by myself, which is partly why I’d really love someone who enjoys having company too.

I’ve been living here for nearly a year and absolutely love the property. It’s really cosy and feels like home, and I have no plans to move anytime soon.

I’m clean and respectful and would expect the same in return. More than anything, I want whoever moves in to feel comfortable, settled and able to treat this as their home.
