A furnished double in a quiet house on The Crescent, and the number that matters here is one. One other person shares the bathroom with you. The other two are siblings, which I will say up front because you would work it out in a week anyway. They are easy, they keep to themselves, and the house runs quietly. If you are after a rotating cast of strangers and a party every Friday, this is not that.

Open plan kitchen and living room with a corner sofa, a separate dining table that seats four, and an American style fridge freezer with more space than three people know what to do with. Washing machine in the utility. Out the back there is an enclosed garden with artificial grass, a shed and a washing line, which in this country you use about four days a year and are grateful for every one of them.

Parking sits directly in front of the house. No permit, no circling the block at eleven at night.
