A beautiful home, lovely dog, ensuite/own lounge

I'm looking for a friendly, independent professional or mature postgraduate student to share my lovely home in Keyworth, a village just outside Nottingham.

This is much more than just a room to rent. It's a spacious, comfortable home with lots of character, a beautiful garden and a rather special four-legged resident called Snoop!

What you'll have:

The house

The house is a lovely mix of traditional character and modern comforts, with original wooden floors, a log burner, plantation shutters and lots of natural light.

Keyworth is a friendly village with local shops, cafés and amenities, and convenient access to Nottingham and the surrounding area.

Meet Snoop! 🐾

Snoop is my gorgeous Weimaraner/Labrador cross, nearly five years old, and a very important member of the household.

I'd particularly love to find someone who genuinely loves dogs and would enjoy having Snoop around.

Perhaps you've always had dogs, miss having one of your own, or would simply love the companionship without the full-time responsibility.

It would be wonderful to find someone who might enjoy taking Snoop for the occasional walk, spending time with him in the garden or just enjoying his company around the house.

There's absolutely no expectation that you'll be responsible for his care — he's my dog and that remains my responsibility. But if you and Snoop develop a friendship of your own, that would be a real bonus!

A little about me and who I'm looking for

I'm active, independent and enjoy a peaceful, relaxed home. I value my privacy and personal space and would love to find someone who feels the same.

Ideally, I'm looking for a mature postgraduate or PhD student, academic or working professional who is considerate, tidy, self-sufficient and happy doing their own thing.

This isn't a busy, sociable house share. It's a lovely home where we can both enjoy our independence, with plenty of space and mutual respect.

I'm hoping to find someone who appreciates a comfortable, well-kept home, enjoys a calm environment and, most importantly, thinks sharing a house with Snoop sounds like a bonus rather than a compromise!
