A furnished double room is available in a well-equipped, owner-occupied two-bedroom house near Jubilee Campus, with convenient transport links to Nottingham city centre, QMC and both universities.

This is a quiet two-person household, shared only with the live-in owner — not a large student HMO.

£550 pcm including gas, electricity, water and Wi‑Fi. Council tax contribution payable separately where applicable

The shared facilities include:

The house contains considerably more equipment than can be listed here. Many of these are the owner’s personal belongings rather than separately guaranteed rental services, but I am generally happy for a considerate housemate to use and enjoy them on a sensible shared basis. Please treat everything with care, clean up after use and return shared items to their proper place.

About the household:

I am a male live-in homeowner in my early thirties. I enjoy cooking, coffee, music, gaming and fitness. The atmosphere is intended to be friendly but independent: we can chat, occasionally share a meal or enjoy the facilities together, while still respecting each other’s privacy, routines and personal space.

English is not my first language, but I am comfortable with everyday conversation and practical household communication. I also speak Cantonese, Mandarin and Shanghainese.

I am looking for one mature student or working professional who is clean, reliable and respectful of a shared home. Normal visitors are fine, but please discuss them in advance in accordance with the house rules. The owner occasionally uses a low-strength e-cigarette in his own room with ventilation, so anyone particularly sensitive to vapour or scent should take this into consideration.

Proof of identity, Right to Rent and student or employment status will be required. References are preferred.
