Large Double Bedroom in the Town Centre

Hello :)
I’m looking for a friendly, respectful person to rent a lovely double room in my flat in central Abingdon.

The room is bright and airy, with beautiful original parquet flooring and plenty of natural light. The flat itself is clean, comfortable and well looked after, with a shared living room, kitchen and bathroom. There is also a nice communal garden shared with the other neighbours. My neighbours are all very nice and friendly.

The flat is in a really convenient location, pretty much in the centre of town, while being just far enough away from the busiest streets that it’s peaceful and not overly noisy. The flat also overlooks the river, which gives it a lovely feel and makes the location feel surprisingly calm for being so central.
There is residents parking outside but you have to get a permit through the council. I believe it’s £132 per year but you can also get one for 6 months.

You’d be sharing with just me, so there’s no big house-share situation. I’m friendly and sociable, but I also really value having my own space and would be respectful of yours. I do have two cats however, so you’d need to be okay with them being around. They are very friendly, but won’t go in your room unless you want them to. This also makes it difficult if you have a pet yourself but we can discuss.

I’m looking for someone who is clean, considerate and respectful of shared spaces. Also, someone who is happy to have a chat over a cup of tea or something, but equally comfortable doing your own thing. Ideally, I’d like the flat to feel like a home rather than just a place where we happen to live.
