Two rooms: one larger with a closet and an en-suite shower / toilet, the other opposite the flat's bathroom which does indeed have a bath. The current set-up is a slight rent disparity with the en-suite paying more (£725 v £675 at current rent) and the main bathroom being assigned to the smaller room. Maintaining that and being in either room is fine with me. Holistically the rent including bills is I believe split £775 and £825, excluding council tax (band B) which was £1,736.83 in my first year here, and then £2032.31 for this year. These are the values before being halved per renter, but gauge what next year will bring for yourself >_>
There is a shared kitchen (oven, hob, washing machine, fridge freezer) and living area, and a balcony just large enough to swing a cat, assuming the swing is more a pendulum, though sadly pets are not allowed.
A single parking space is assigned to the flat. I've no vehicle myself currently. Should we both have one, I'd suggest either a weekly / monthly toggle of the space. Visitor spaces are available though not always open.
I'm tentatively reaching out now in search of a flatmate for March onwards to avoid a repeat of living with someone unknown and the ludicrous and sociologically humorous situations that stemmed from that and their questionable expectations and entitlement.
So, let us begin that pseudo-dating profile.
LGBTQ+ and kink/fet friendly for anyone looking for a place where they can be themselves or who enjoys discussion around those topics. Much removed from the scenes now, but I did used to be reasonably involved and am an ex-Brightoneer.
Into D&D, MTG, perfumery and other various crafts and design-orientated pursuits. Lover of the outdoors (prior van-lifer and debating a return) and of cinema, especially horror. Used to be an avid boardgamer but lack of playfolk has lessened that in favour of Magic. I am ostensibly in the Bicester Board Game group, and play Magic at Westgate in Oxford. I work in the city five irregular days a week, typically leaving the flat at 9 and being back after half 6. My current proximity is the main draw to not relocating myself, as a two minute walk to the station is great.
Whilst the sardony is real, actually being friends with you would be a novel change of pace, though far from required. I usually stay within my room as is, only really venturing out into the broader flat in search of food or floorspace if I need to re-organise my MTG collection or the scales shame me in to a few pedal rotations on the exercise bike. Having someone with shared interests do do things with of an evening where we're both in would be the ideal.
Older flatmate preferred, though young blood to help check my unc status wouldn't be too opposed. Current flatmate is female, but male or female is fine.
