This quiet room has a comfortable double bed and a private, modern en-suite bathroom with walk-in power shower, toilet and wash basin. Small desk available if required.

Room is in a four-bedroom detached house with double-glazing in a peaceful residential area with free and convenient on-street parking.

Monthly rate includes all bills (high speed wifi, council tax, water, gas, electricity).

Available from first weekend of October. Single occupancy only. £300 deposit, references required.

You will be sharing the house mostly only with me (live-in landlady), and sometimes my 20-year-old son (who is quiet and respectful) when he’s sat suing for some of the college holidays, and our very friendly cat. My boyfriend also sometimes stays, but equally, I spend time away at his house.

• Convenient for people working at Alpine Formula 1, Blenheim Palace, Soho Farm House, Ditchley Estate.
• The room has a smart TV, ample storage and electrical points, and a black out blind.
• 10 minutes' walk from Charlbury town centre with Co-op, pubs and amenities, 15 minutes' walk from Charlbury train station – main line to Oxford (20 mins), London Paddington (1 hour 10), Worcester (1 hour),
• 5 mins walk from bus stop.
• Access to kitchen with kettle, toaster, oven, hob, microwave, air fryer, slow cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, etc.
• Access to open plan living/dining room and garden.
• Environmental – house has electric car charging point (additional cost for use, if needed), solar panels and solar storage battery.
• I have previously rented the room on Airbnb and have 5 star reviews – listing link available on request.
• I provide all bedding and towels if needed.
• I don’t enter your room, which is your private space and you clean and change bedding. I keep the rest of the house clean and tidy, but expect you to cook your own food and clean away after.
• I am friendly and welcoming, but also respect your privacy. I work from home in a separate office downstairs.
• Not recommended for those allergic to cats. However, the cat is not allowed access to the rental bedroom and is kept in the kitchen at night.
