Cat friendly housemate wanted

Hello. If this advert is still up. I’m still looking for a suitable female housemate ideally Monday - Friday as I like to have my friends stay over in weekends but I may consider short term lets.

Double room is a Mon-Fri per month let £550 including bills.
Or if short term £150 per week with weekend stays.

Available from 23rd March 2026 for 1 person.

Ideal for people working in Oxford Mon-Fri and live or have partners elsewhere such as London.

We are situated next to Oxford Business Park and the Mini plant is at end of our road, both a 5- 10 mins walk away. We are close to St Joseph's Hall (King's college), Brookes University, Nuffield or Churchill hospitals and for closeness to the ring road out of Oxford.
We are close to lots of gyms such as David Lloyds 10mins walk and different supermarkets all with walking distance, Tescos, M&S, Aldi, Lidl.

Preferably I'm looking for housemates that do not work 100% at home, loves cats, employed, a professional or post graduate or summer student. They need to love, have lived with and not allergic to cats. My cats are very affectionate like a dog and can be quite noisy when they want something.

You'll be sharing with myself, a live in landlady (I’m female, British Chinese, fluent in English and Cantonese, I have a hybrid work pattern, my 2 female flatmates, my 2 cats and chickens.

We like to live in a friendly and helpful house so we are hoping to find someone similar to join us. We communicate in our Whatsapp housesmate group so we are aware of what’s happening in the house. We have a weekly communal cleaning rota between us so you would need to be OK with this. I also run an environmentally house so I use old fashioned cleaning products to reflect this.

-Furnished room with double bed, desk and chair and a door lock
-Shared living room, kitchen/dining area with a piano, weights bench
-Upstairs shared bathroom with toilet and also a downstairs toilet.
-Broadband with You Fibre.
-Close to bus stop for Brookes University, Churchill, Nuffield and John Radcliffe Hospital.
-Within walking distance to Oxford Business Park, Mini plant.
-On road parking but you would need to apply for a parking permit from council if you want to park between 9 am - 5pm Monday and Fridays.
-Electric car charger Type 2 (7kW) on driveway which have a cheaper charge between 12:30 to 5:30am (you pay separately for this).
-Conveniently close to ring road but you need to navigate via Fernhill Rd and a small section of Holloway.
-Near to shops, got corner shop, Aldi, Tesco, M&S, Boots, Lidl, lots of gyms such as David Lloyds
-20-25 mins cycle to middle of town.
- Central heating switched on during core hours (evenings when people are in the house). Not in summer unless it's very cold.
- Large well maintained garden with garage for storing bikes.
- Mon-Fri £550/month incl bills or £150 per week including weekend stays.
