Room in Cowley from mid-July 2026 to mid-Jan. 2027

I'm a 26-year-old DPhil student, and I'll be away on a research stay from mid-July until mid-Jan 2026. I'm looking for someone to sublet my room during that period, but I am flexible around move in/out dates!

The house has 6 bedrooms and is shared with five other women aged 26–29. Four are working professionals and one is a DPhil student. We are looking for another female of similar age to move in!
We share:
- 3 toilets
- 2 full bathrooms
- An open-plan kitchen and living room, including: 6-burner hob, 2 ovens, 2 fridges, dining table, TV, and a large sofa
- A garden with outdoor seating, lawn space, and a bike shed
There's usually someone around in the shared living area if you'd like a chat, but there's absolutely no pressure to socialise if you're having one of those days (we all get it!). We occasionally go for drinks, events or parties together (specially halloween is a big thing in the house), or have a (not so friendly) Mario Kart tournament!

Also, one important perk is that there's almost always homemade banana bread or cupcakes around. If you forget about bananas until they're overripe, rest assured they'll be put to good use 🍰

It is important for us to keep the house clean and tidy to make it feel more like home. We have a weekly cleaning rota, with everyone contributing to shared cleaning tasks, which we usually do towards the end of the week.
The house is relatively modern by Oxford standards and is well insulated, making it particularly comfortable during the winter months. The room is fully furnished and includes:
- Double bed
- Desk/workspace
- Bedside table
- Wardrobe
- Plenty of shelving and drawer space

📍The house is located on Reliance Way, which is a quiet neighbourhood with great bus connections to Oxford city centre.

Rent is 638£/month without bills/taxes, which usually add around 100-120£ monthly and include council tax, gas, electricity, water, and wifi!
