Big double room in homely Cowley house share

We have a room coming available in our lovely Cowley house share in October (approx 12th with some flexibility!). I have loved my 2.5 years here and made great friends!

The room is a large double on the ground floor and gets loads of natural light. It comes with a bed, desk, chair, chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside table. There’s plenty of storage and it’s really quiet at night for a great sleep. You’d have a downstairs loo just next door and a further two bathrooms upstairs (bath & shower). We also have a well loved garden which is great for BBQs and opens up onto green space.

We are a house of 6 young professionals all working in Oxford. You’d be moving in with 4 girls and a guy. We’re a friendly and sociable house and would love to find someone who might become a friend as well as a housemate. We often take it in turns to cook meals for each other and you can always find someone down for watching TV going to the pub. We’re also respectful of each other’s space and it’s a homely place to chill out when you need to switch off.

The house is in a great location, just a few minutes from a bus stop with regular buses into town and a 10-15 minute walk or few minute cycle from the shops/pubs/restaurants on Cowley Road.

The rent is £700 a month including all bills and council tax and the administrator we liaise with is really responsive. The deposit is 5 weeks rent (£807). Transfer of tenancy fee of £50 payable at the end of the tenancy.

On top of the rent, we all chip in £20 a month to cover all communal items and to pay for our lovely cleaner who comes once a week.
