Looking for a tidy, dog-friendly flatmate to share my home – 1-year tenancy to start. 🗓️

Hi! I’m looking for a friendly and considerate flatmate to share my lovely 2-bed flat in Great Western Park, Didcot. It’s a calm, well-kept home with good links into town and London. I live here with my dog, Carter, and I’d love to find someone who’s happy to share the space – and doesn’t mind the occasional waggy tail. 🐾

This isn’t just a spare room, it’s a home share. I am looking for a 1-year tenancy to establish a settled, comfortable household, with a move-in date of 1st October. A deposit will be required by 1st September to secure the room. While I am aiming for a year, I am happy to discuss a shorter contract if that suits the right person. 🤝

Carter is my 5-year-old Labrador. He’s super friendly, loves a cuddle, and will do anything for food (please don’t feed him though!). I’d really appreciate someone who enjoys dogs and doesn't mind giving him a bit of attention; occasionally helping out by taking him to the green opposite the flat when I’m working would be a huge bonus. 🎾

👋 A Bit About Me

Work & Routine: I work in Oxford, commuting there once or twice a week and working from home for the remaining three days. I’m a morning person who loves hitting the gym early to start the day, and I appreciate a quiet, professional environment during the working day. 💻🏋️‍♂️

Social & Downtime: I’m part of the LGBTQ+ community and love a friendly, inclusive home. I enjoy spontaneity, a good movie night, and a chin wag, but I also value my own space and time. I enjoy socialising, hitting the pub, and watching sports of all kinds. 🍿🍻⚽🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Habits: I’m fine with vaping indoors, but I ask that any smoking be kept outside to keep the flat fresh. 💨

Guests: Friends, family, and partners are always welcome! I just ask for a quick text beforehand so I’m not caught doing something incredibly stupid or embarrassing when they walk through the door. 😂
