I am moving out of my double room in a nice house in the Ladygrove estate.
The house is very close to the fishing lakes and a short walk to the local pub and shops. It's a really quiet cul-de-sac with nice neighbours.
The room is furnished with a double bed and mattress, double wardrobe, a taller set of drawers and two bedside drawer units. I currently have my desk in there too and find its perfectly okay for working from home and remains spacious.
My housemate is a single working professional (male 29 y/o) working locally with 1 day a week working from home.
He is a calm and kind man, I've known him for over 3 years, as a colleague and friend and can confidently say he is a pleasure to live with. He's tidy and always very considerate of our shared spaces kitchen, bathroom, lounge etc.
The lounge is a nice space, along with the garden which my housemate is often tending to with various vegetables and fruits growing.
There is a driveway for 2 cars, so 1 spot will be available.
There is a garden shed for storage and a fairly new BBQ with gas that can be used whenever.
