An elderly gentleman who is warm and friendly with reduced mobility are seeking a Sharer for his home to give a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

The gentleman would really benefit from some practical help around the house including some shopping, cooking and share around four meals each week, help with light household chores (there is a cleaner), ad hoc tasks such as replacing batteries, emptying bins and recycling, lifting things etc plus the friendly reassurance of having someone around the home in the evenings/overnight.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished double bedroom with desk, chair and hanging space with its own bathroom and shared use of the sitting room, kitchen and garden.

The property is conveniently located in Iffley on the south side of Oxford, just over two miles into the centre of Oxford.

The gentleman’s interests include crossword puzzles, TV quizzes, fishing, socialising with village friends and family, the local church, community activities and good food and wine.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be male and a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of their interests.
A car driver with own car preferred.
