Bright Double Room in Friendly Oxford Home

We're looking for a friendly, respectful housemate (or couple) to join our spacious 3-bedroom house in OX4 1SS, available from September.

The house is spread across three floors and is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes from Iffley Sports Centre, with easy access to Oxford city centre by bike or bus.

The available room is a bright double bedroom on the third floor, with plenty of natural light. It comes furnished with:
Double bed
Desk and office chair
Bedside table
Chest of drawers
Walk-in wardrobe
Loft storage, perfect for suitcases and seasonal items

The house has:
• Large double living room with a comfortable sofa, TV and dining table
• Spacious, fully equipped kitchen - dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, oven/hob, and two fridges (one not in the picture), including a large fridge-freezer.
• Private enclosed garden for bikes
• One large, well-ventilated shared bathroom with walk in shower and tub
• The house also has an extra shared room that we use as a guest room and study, with additional wardrobes and storage, which you're welcome to use if you need a quiet workspace.

The rent is £850 for single occupancy or £975 for couples per month plus bills (gas, electricity, water and internet). We don't pay council tax.

A little about us: we're a Brazilian couple. One is doing a DPhil in Earth Sciences department at the University of Oxford, and other work full-time while studying part-time for an MSc in Surgical Science and Practice.
We're sociable and easy-going, and enjoy travelling, sports, restaurants, pubs, cooking and board games. At the same time, we really value a clean, respectful and peaceful home.
We also have two friendly indoor Bengal cats, so we're looking for someone who is happy living with pets.
Unfortunately our current housemates are moving to Spain, and we'd love to find again someone who is looking for a welcoming home rather than just a room. We'd be especially happy to hear from postgraduate students, researchers or professionals, but we're open to anyone who thinks they'd be a good fit.
