Islip is a classic, golden sandstone village: picturesque, tranquil, and a hub for social, fitness and creative outlets, with beautiful walks on our doorstep.

I am a friendly, mature person, doing sensitive work which requires a safe and confidential space at home. I'm looking for a quiet and self-sufficient professional person, preferably someone who is out at work during office hours, Monday to Friday. My ideal housemate is "early to bed and early to rise," as the saying goes; enjoys catching up but values time alone; shares some interests or none - it's not important; it's more important that we communicate well and respect each other.

From the comfort of your own room, you can enjoy stunning sunset views. It's quiet and cosy, with a double bed and adequate storage for someone who's not bringing their life's possessions. There's a shared bathroom next door and a kitchen/dining room downstairs. I love to cook in our well-equipped kitchen and share the odd meal. The garden is great for relaxing with a drink or a cuppa of an evening.
