Short Term Summer Vacancy

Hi! We have one double room available for a short-term summer let.

The house has been passed from group to group for about four years, and we’d love to keep the good vibes going over the summer. Students are welcome, but council tax (Band D) will still apply.

About Us
We’re a sociable, considerate household who enjoy spending time together when it suits — pub trips, films, cooking, etc. — while also respecting each other’s space. The atmosphere is calm, easygoing, and genuinely friendly. We’re looking for someone who wants a proper home (even if just for the summer) rather than just a room.

The Room & House
One double bedroom available on the top floor.
• One room comes fully furnished.
• The other will lose the bed, but our landlord Lucy is great and can arrange a replacement at no extra cost (please let us know which room you’d prefer).
Open-plan kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, air fryer, and plenty of storage.
Two fridges + two freezers (plenty of space).
Spacious living room perfect for hanging out.
Two bathrooms — you’ll share with just one other person.
Responsive, reliable landlords who actually fix things.
Location
A stone’s throw from some great pubs.
Port Meadow is just around the corner.
About a 5-minute cycle to the city centre and train station.
Rent & Bills
£1005 per month (this creates a decent excess to split out at the end of the tenancy).
Bills around £100 per month (council tax, utilities, broadband — usually lower in summer).
