About the flat
Foundry House is a spacious, modern 78m² two-bedroom, two-bathroom flat on the 3rd floor, complete with a private balcony overlooking St Sepulchre's Cemetery. Far more atmospheric than creepy, I promise. Council Tax Band E, Energy Rating B.
You'd have the second bedroom with your own dedicated bathroom just across the hall. All other spaces, kitchen, living room, balcony, are fully shared. Bills split fairly.
There's a dedicated parking space for my car, though you're welcome to use it when it's free or borrow the car when it is not.
About me
I'm Barnaby. I did my PhD in quantum computing at Oxford, then a postdoc in the Netherlands, and I'm now back working in the city, usually in the office three days a week. The flat is quiet and calm the rest of the time.
Outside work I'm pretty active: cycling, kitesurfing when the wind cooperates, and I've recently taken up paragliding. I'd love to live with someone curious and up for the occasional adventure, whether that's grabbing a pint, exploring Oxford, or just good conversation over dinner.
A note on furnishings:
The flat is currently unfurnished (the photos show a previous setup). I'm hoping we can figure out the furnishings together, a good excuse to make the place our own.
