A bright and spacious double room is available in a lovely terraced house in Jericho/Summertown. The house is shared with one professional and a friendly tortoiseshell cat.

The house is a two-bed end-of-terrace on Hayfield Road with lots of natural light, a beautiful garden and friendly neighbours. Large kitchen/living area with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and doors opening onto the garden. There's a separate, extremely spacious living room with a wood burner and desk space. The double room is part-furnished with a bed and chest of drawers, a walk-in wardrobe and a separate built-in cupboard. There's space to add a desk if required. There are two full bathrooms in the house, both with walk-in showers and one with a separate bath. The house has side access to the garden, which is great for storing bicycles. On-street parking is available.

The house is on Hayfield Road, a quiet no-through road between Jericho and Summertown. The Anchor pub is at the end of the road. 5 minutes from Port Meadow. 10 mins cycle to the train station along the canal, and a short walk to the shops in either Jericho or Summertown.

I'm a professional who splits her time between working in London and working for one of the Oxford colleges. I mostly work from home but commute to London once a week. I enjoy swimming in the river, cycling and cooking. Persie is an affectionate tortoiseshell cat who spends most of her time sleeping in sunny spots around the house. Cat lovers are very welcome!

We're looking for an (ideally female) housemate who values a friendly and calm home environment. We're keen to find someone who is friendly, tidy, considerate, and happy sharing a home with a cat.

The rent is £1,275 per month (excluding bills). Bills are typically around £200 per person per month. Council tax band E. The room is available immediately/from July.
