Room in friendly Jericho flat

Hi everyone! We’re looking for one person to move into a spacious room in our lovely flat on Juxon Street, right in the heart of Jericho.

The start date is 30 September 2026, and the minimum stay we are looking for is 6 months, with the possibility to extend on a rolling basis afterwards.

About the room:
The room measures 4.1 m × 2.9 m and is furnished with a king-size bed, a spacious desk ideal for working from home, an ergonomic office chair, a chest of drawers, and generous floating shelving for books, plants, or other personal items. A large built-in wardrobe provides ample storage space.

Rent is £1,000 per month, excluding bills. The property is in Council Tax Band B, and you can expect to pay around £150 per month for bills (energy, water, internet) and council tax, on average.

Postgraduate students are welcome, but must be happy to pay council tax.

Please note that this is a single occupancy room.

About the location:
The location is right at the heart of Jericho, just a few minutes’ walk from Sainsbury’s and the cafés, pubs, and restaurants along Walton Street. Oxford railway station is also only a 10-minute walk away via the canal towpath.

About the flat:
The flat is a well-maintained modern three-bedroom ground-floor property with a shared bathroom, a separate kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and washer-dryer, and a spacious, cosy living and dining area with a TV. Outside, there is a private patio and garden, perfect for enjoying the warmer months. The flat is managed by Lucy Properties, who have always been very responsive and helpful with any maintenance needs.

About us:
You'll be living with a DPhil student and a college staff member in our mid-20s to mid-30s. We're tidy, conscientious, and take pride in looking after and maintaining the flat. More importantly, we really value making it feel like a home. We all have our own routines and activities and respect each other's space, but also enjoy sharing the occasional coffee, meal, or catch-up. We hope to find someone who'll enjoy being part of a relaxed, respectful household with a warm atmosphere, where we naturally look out for one another.
