Double room in friendly Jericho house

I'm looking for someone to replace me in my lovely shared house in central Oxford.

We are a ten minute walk (5 minute or less cycle!) from the rail station and city centre, and are perfectly placed for access to the Jericho pub and bar scene, the picturesque Port Meadow, and a range of great little shops and delis on Walton and Little Clarendon Street. We're a friendly, clean household who enjoy socialising over dinner and heading out for drinks together at our local. Everyone works in different fields and comes from different backgrounds, but we all get along very well. One of us also has a cat (pictured) - which is a bonus if you want a furry friend with none of the responsibilities! We are LGBTQ-friendly.

The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a desk. As a house, we share a large, well-equipped open-plan kitchen and living area, a garden (with seating and fire-pit) and two bathrooms. We lease through Lucy Properties. The house itself is in very good condition. Rent price doesn't include council tax (Band D), or the other bills for energy, water, etc., which we split monthly.

We would prefer a female housemate to move in mid-December.

A little about us:

Liina – PhD student, Icelandic, regular at the Phoenix Picturehouse in Jericho, loves reading and hiking (and occasionally attempts to go for a run)

Charlie - works at OUP, tries to bake and read as often as possible but easily distracted by the tv (and loki), loves the pub, and sims 4 🫶

Ellie - works in metallurgy. Big fan of pubs, water sports, reading fiction, & Loki✌️

Alice - works for Daunt Books, loves reading, cooking new recipes, pub trips and is always up for a yap & walk. Also mum to Loki (see below).

Loki - the man of the house and resident biscuit-maker. Loki is a 5 year old indoor-only Norwegian Forest cat who loves a cuddle but is always up for a bit of playtime too.
