Double room in late Victorian terraced property on lovely street in New Hinksey area. New Hinksey park (with wonderful outdoor Hinksey pool) and access to the River Thames are a stones throw away.

There are nice walks (which you can also cycle) down the Thames path towards town or southwards towards Iffley Village; in the Grandpont nature reserve which is about 10 mintues away; and over the devils backbone bridge and into South Hinksey Village. The local community centre has a farmers' market which runs on every Sunday morning at the South Oxford Community centre.

The house is a 15 minute walk or 4 minute bus ride from town centre (Carfax) and the train station is a further 15 minute walk from Carfax. There are good direct bus services from the house directly to Wantage, Walingford, Reading, Abingdon, Didcot and the Harwell Campus.

Everybody in the house is fairly low key, but quite friendly. The room's existing occupant will be moving out on 11th March. The room has a double bed, but is intended for a single individual. II will be travelling on Friday 13th February for two week. You are welcome to come for a viewing from 28th February onwards.. The bed in kingsize, but advertised price is as a single only. - I am not taking couples for this room..
