2 Rooms in Central Oxford

Room 1

Hi all,
Two rooms have opened up in our 4-bedroom house, and we are looking for new housemates to join us! The house is in a central and convenient location - only a minute away from the Oxford train station and 10 minutes walk from Carfax Tower / Westgate and Jericho. The neighbourhood is residential and quiet.
For both rooms, the start date is 1 September 2026, we are looking for people willing to stay for at least 12 months. There is a deposit of roughly one month's rent that needs to be paid before the start of the tenancy.

One of the rooms is 12 square meters in size, on the top floor overlooking the rear garden, and shares a bathroom with one of the other housemates. It is furnished with a double bed and build-in wardrobe. The rent is £857 per month (not including water, gas/electricity, internet and council tax).
The other room is 9 square meters in size, on the first floor, and shares a bathroom with one of the other housemates. It is furnished with a double bed and build-in wardrobe. The rent is £770 per month (not including water, gas/electricity, internet and council tax).

The house has a kitchen with dishwasher and laundry machine, a living room and a rear garden with bike storage.


A little bit about us: You’ll be joining a female and a male housemate. We both are from Germany, DPhil student and postdoc. We have independent lives but also like to get together for a walk on the weekend, and we like to keep a respectful and easy-going atmosphere. We keep the house clean, equally contributing to chores such as cleaning the common areas, taking out the trash, etc., so we are hoping to find housemates who will be clean and tidy as well.
