Double bedroom in beautiful house shared with 1

I'm looking for a considerate housemate to share a beautiful house in New Hinksey. The house is only a few minutes' walk from Oxford city centre, but is also right next to a beautiful riverside path and Hinksey Park.

I'm looking for a professional who is tidy, organised, and clean, and who will treat this house with care and as a home. Importantly, the house belongs to a family who are travelling overseas and are entrusting their tenants to look after their home while they're away.

The family will be away for 18 months from 15 October. Ideally, I'm looking for someone planning to stay for at least 12 months, and up to the full 18 months. That said, the tenancy includes a two-month notice period, so if either of us needs to move out earlier, we would be responsible for finding a replacement tenant.

About the room/house:

This is a three-bedroom house shared by just the two of us (the third, smaller bedroom can be used for guests or as a study).

Upstairs are the three bedrooms and a family bathroom. Downstairs is a spacious open-plan living and dining area.

Your room is the slightly larger of the two double bedrooms. It is the double room shown in the photos.

There is also a beautiful patio and garden, which we'll both be responsible for maintaining and looking after. The garden is south-facing and gets a lot of sun, and has garden furniture and a BBQ.

The house is fully furnished and comes with all the usual amenities (including dishwasher, washer, dryer, fridge, microwave).

The rent includes council tax and Wi-Fi. Utilities (electricity and water) are additional.

No pets, no smoking.

About me:

I'm an academic and have lived in Oxford for a few years. I'm thoughtful and easygoing, and I work from the office most days. I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends, but I like creating a comfortable, welcoming home to share with someone.
