An older lady with slow mobility and reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a little practical help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance and enjoy the company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also like some general practical help around the home shopping and organising the fridge, cooking up to four meals each week and keeping an eye on food, light cleaning and tidying, loading/unloading the dishwasher, carrying heavier items, simple IT/tech (eg phone and iPad) and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a bedroom (a double bed is on order) with wardrobem chest of drawers, desk and chair, shower room (shared with visiting family), and use of the sitting room, kitchen and small garden.

The property is in a wonderful location, just 5-10 minutes from Oxford City centre and close to the River Thames.

The lady used to be an amazing cook and wrote about food and gardening. She is sociable and fun, and enjoys company and conversation. She has supportive children who visit and stay when they can (nb a family member’s golden retriever sometimes visits).

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time (up to 15 hours per week in a mix of practical help plus a little company) to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker.
