The flat is an extension of our main house on the back, in a nice garden. It's south-facing, bright and warm. It has its own entrance and comprises a double-bed sleeping area, a sturdy table and a chair, a kitchenette and a toilet+shower room. It is furnished, clean and quiet. The kitchenette has an induction hob, a kettle, a combi microwave-oven, a fridge-freezer (quieter model, 39db), and a washing machine. Other small cooking items can be provided if requested.

A small shop (for milk, eggs and snacks etc), a Post-office, and a GP clinic are ~10min-walk distance. Five Mile Drive Recreation Ground is just around the corner if you like exercises.

It's convenient for transport:  ~3min walk to bus stops on Banbury Road, 15~20min walk to Summertown shops or Parkway rail station, 15-20min cycling to university departments and city centre. Bus services on Banbury Road to Summertown and city centre are very frequent.

The flat is suitable for a professional, non-smoker and without pet. Minimal stay: 6 months. Shorter tenancy may be considered depending on situation.

The rent covers utility bills including electricity, gas, water, high speed broadband, and TV licence. The tenant needs to pay Council Tax directly to City Council (about £112 pcm for 2026-2027).

The rent will be higher if you work from home.

Parking may be available if you are willing to pay a little extra.
