I am the single retired professional male landlord with a daughters who visits occasionally. I enjoy travel and cooking mostly vegetarian (no problem if you are not Veg.)
Tenant maintains the cleanliness of their own room and dedicated shower room to the same cleanliness it is offered. Bathroom is for prime use by the tennant but as it's downstairs, the occasional visitor may need to use it.

My elderly father lives in a separate Annexe flat, he is super easy and very sedate these days.
