Double bedroom in countryside cottage

We’re a friendly family with a one-year-old son and a fox-red Labrador, looking for a weekday lodger to share our home in Watlington.

We live in a lovely rural spot opposite open fields and directly on the Chiltern Ridgeway, around 30 minutes’ drive from Oxford.

The room is a comfortable double with space to work or study. You would also have use of a separate shower room/toilet and a separate living room, so there is plenty of space and privacy.

We think it would particularly suit a professional, researcher, PhD student or visiting academic who needs a peaceful base near Oxford during the working week.

A car would be useful due to our rural location. There is also a coach connection nearby for Oxford and London.
