An unusually lovely room is available in my beautiful and peaceful home in Little Stretton.

This is a large, beautifully furnished private space with distinct sleeping, sitting and working areas, together with a separate bathroom for your sole use. There is fast Wi-Fi, off-road parking, and shared use of the kitchen and living areas.

Little Stretton lies within some of the most beautiful landscape in the Shropshire Hills, with exceptional walking and cycling directly from the village. The Long Mynd, Ragleth Hill and the wider hills are quite literally on the doorstep.

Although the setting feels wonderfully rural, it is not isolated. Church Stretton is only a few minutes away, with independent shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants, useful everyday amenities and a railway station providing good connections to Shrewsbury and beyond.

I work in coaching and consultancy and enjoy walking, cycling, gardening, cooking and culture. The atmosphere at home is warm, thoughtful and relaxed. I enjoy good conversation and occasional shared time, while also valuing privacy, independence and plenty of space.

I am looking for one considerate, self-contained and interesting person who wants a genuinely lovely home rather than an anonymous house share. Someone friendly and comfortable sharing space, but not expecting us to live in one another’s pockets. This is a calm home rather than a party household, and would suit a mature professional or partly home-working person who appreciates beauty, nature and quiet.

£850 per calendar month, including council tax and ordinary household bills.
