Small double room in Batheaston available immediately - Christian house share.

The house is located in a quiet, friendly residential area of Batheaston near local shops, pharmacy, fish and chip shop and two pubs, a doctor’s surgery and a well-served bus route to and from the town centre. The city centre is about a 15-20 minute drive, depending on traffic. A five-minute walk will take you to Bathampton meadows, and a further 15 minutes will see you at the canal, a lovely path to walk/cycle into town. There is free on-street parking.

As well as the usual rooms, the house has a dining room, a pantry, an utility area, a downstairs toilet, one upstairs and two downstairs storage areas and a shed. There’s a garden which is fairly private and has a patio area, and it’s south-west facing so it gets lots of sun, as do the rooms back of the house. From the back of the house there are lovely views across Bathampton. The communal areas have been furnished by the current tenants but we would like the person who moves in to feel that they can add their own touch to these areas, if they wanted to.

The bedroom is at the front of the house, has two windows and is unfurnished, although it has a built-in wardrobe. Dimensions are 4.7x2.2 metres.

Bill amounts vary from month-to-month but will be around £70 per month.

The landlord doesn’t allow pets or smoking in the house. You should also be aware that the rent and bill share listed here are based on three people sharing, so if one person moves out the rent and the individual share of the bills will be higher; the total rent for the house is £995 per month. There will also be additional admin fees payable to the letting agent.

We’re two friendly, easy-going single Christian women in our 30s. It’s a bit of a cliché, but our house is a home and we’d love to share it with someone who would feel the same. Ideally, we'd like to share the house with someone who plans to rent for the long term (although we know that God can change our plans!).

We both attend Widcombe Baptist Church in Bath and are looking for a Christian to share our house with.
