A lovely, spacious furnished double room with en-suite bathroom and use of a separate living room, available in a comfortable home in Batheaston.

This is a little more than a standard room rental, as you'll have plenty of space of your own as well as access to the shared areas of the house.

The bedroom is a really lovely space with plenty of storage and has been newly prepared and furnished ready for someone to move straight in.

I have my own living room, so the second lounge will normally be yours to use. I may occasionally need to use it, for example if I have guests staying, but this would be the exception rather than the norm.

The en-suite will similarly be for your normal day-to-day use. I may very occasionally ask to use it if needed, but would always check with you first. If exclusive use of the bathroom is important to you, I'm happy to discuss that.

The house

I'm a live-in landlord and live here with a very friendly, well-behaved dog who doesn't bark. I have two university-age children who are away at university for most of the year but come home during the holidays. I also have an older son who lives overseas.

It's a relaxed, friendly home rather than a busy house-share. You'll be very welcome to use the kitchen, garden and shared areas, while also having plenty of your own space.

I'm looking for someone who is friendly, considerate, clean and tidy and will treat the house with care. I think it would particularly suit an independent professional who has their own work, friends and routine, and likes the idea of a friendly household while also valuing their own space and privacy.

Location

The house is in Batheaston, with good access to Bath and the surrounding area. By car it's approximately:

20 minutes to Bath city centre - walkable on a summer's evening
15 minutes to the University of Bath
15 minutes to MOD Corsham
Convenient for the M4 and wider road network

Off-street parking is included.
