This is ideal for a postgraduate student looking for a clean, a quiet room in a very nice home, close to the city and bus stops up to the university. I’m an academic myself and really like letting to postgraduates. The room is a generous double, comes part furnished with bed, bedside tables, lamps, desk, shelves and desk chair, plus two roomy wardrobes and a great double built in cupboard, so it’s all set up for instant moving in.

The existing tenant is relocating with new friends as they’re in a long duration 6 year phd course. This is a great chance to get control of your outgoings as it’s all fixed prices, you can share in a lovely cosy well-cared for home and complete your studies in excellent accommodation with like-minded female academics,. This room is for ONE person only, strictly no smoking or pets, thanks . I really cannot take couples at all. I’m looking for a reliable postgrad who can commit soon, wants the room over summer and into Autumn. Short term let’s for a student needing a room until August or September is also ok…I have a spare room so can be flexible!

Over August this year, ideally, you would be away on holiday yourself , as I’ll have family staying, plus doing maintenance…otherwise holiday stayovers are of course fine. It’s not a dealbreaker, just would really help me!
